Blue Bathysphere

If you like sapphires, this one may have your name on it. Set into an 18ct gold band this solitaire stone is sure to attract a little attention. The stone is a beautiful shade of blue and being lab created or synthetic means it doesn’t ’cost the earth’ for this size. The band has been reticulated and lightly ‘sketch engraved’. Looks a little mountainesque - perhaps a new land mass being born under the sea.  The 18ct gold that surrounds this solitaire stone was alloyed in my studio from old pieces, so in effect, recycled gold.  I have left the finish on this ring in various stages of polish, texture and burnishing. This gives the whole piece varying shades of gold, from pinkish coppery, to  more modern deep golden tones of 18ct yellow gold. It is incredibly difficult to capture all the details of my jewellery in photographs. I am always happy to have a video chat for better looks at my work before you may make a decision to buy.  

The ring will fit a UK Size M1/2 to N.
