Peacock Mabe Pearl Solitaire
Peacock Mabe Pearl Solitaire
Although this is called a Peacock Mabe Pearl, I feel it is much paler than what I personally may imagine as a Peacock Blue. More of a baby blue for me, though of course I am mostly imagining the Indian Peacock of which I have a few feathers to remind me. This iridescent pearl is set in a handcrafted sterling silver collet that is lightly textured all over. The back of the setting has been pared away and shaped so you can have a peep at the back of the pearl, which is also very pretty and nacreous.
Strung on an 18inch recycled strong but fine oval belcher and closed with a discreet lobster clasp.
Birthstone for the Gemini, May 21 to June 21, Gemini can also wear Pearl and Alexandrite. Traditional gift for 30 years of marriage - and just well, quite cool when set in less traditional ways. I am a bit fascinated by Elizabeth I, a lover of pearls and shall be making more pearl items.
Gift boxed and free postage.
A note on hallmarking.
Some smaller items weighted below the legal Assay Office Requirements may not bear full hallmarks. This helps to offer you a lower price. The quality, care and materials used are still the same.
