Ruby Star

This rustic Ruby with silk inclusions has been bezel set in sterling silver. This gives a little extra  shimmer and personality to this already interesting stone. Under a loupe or with good eyes, the inclusions look like a cobweb!  The back has a star cutout detail. The whole piece including the chain has been oxidised to give the piece a little Gothic or vintage appeal and a punched heart stamped onto the hammered hallmarking tag at the clasp.
The pendant hangs close to the throat on a 16 inch delicate but strong belcher chain.
Ruby is the birthstone for July, Cancer signs.
Fully hallmarked by The London Assay Office including the Queens Jubilee Platinum mark.

A little about Rubies and healing

Silk Ruby carries the same properties as a normal Ruby but it is thought to have stronger healing and magical energies. It is said to be a wonderful amplifier of ones fortitude and inner resources.

As a stone of spiritual Light, it is often used by Light Workers and healers to integrate high-frequency energy into the body. It is said to assist in recognising the true abundance available within ones life.

Ruby has been said to be extremely powerful and supportive for those inclined to self-harm or self-neglect, and is quite beneficial in overcoming sexual dysfunction or the trauma of abuse of any sort. It is also said to help in the recognise and release suppressed anger.
