Wayside Brooch

As part of the Wayside Collection, pieces inspired and or crafted from collected materials, this brooch has been hand cast from sterling silver using the Delft clay method. A scavenged squirrel jaw bone was used as the base for the casting, which has been set with a delicate faceted Iolite. The piece has been suspended from a brooch pin of reticulated silver. Patination gives the piece a rustic feel.
This piece has featured in a photo shoot with Wolf Alice, worn by Ellie.
